Hollywood leftists are taking the term “bad loser” to a whole new level. While most of us have moved on after the election, they continue to mourn at Trump’s surprise win. Literally.
A large PR firm has canceled their star-studded annual Christmas party in solidarity with the people they’re convinced Trump is going to disenfranchise (regardless of what his proposed policies actually are, but that is neither here or there as these people are professional victims, mind you).
“Hollywood publicity powerhouse Sunshine Sachs has canceled its glitzy, star-studded annual holiday celebrations in solidarity with those whom its chief executive says are people who feel targeted by Donald Trump.
“We’ve been talking a lot about how to protect the things we care about, post-election,” Sunshine Sachs CEO Shawn Sachs told industry outlet TheWrap on Tuesday.
“I felt the morning after was nothing compared to how I felt talking to people in this office, those who felt their citizenship — in a matter of moments — was gone or had been lessened,” Sachs said of the election. “Being the diverse workplace we are, many of us felt under assault.”
Sunshine Sachs represents screen stars from Natalie Portman to Leonardo DiCaprio, and also works with major tech companies like Facebook.
The firm spends big to host holiday parties in New York City and Los Angeles, usually attended by the journalism and Hollywood elite. But the election of Donald Trump marked a change for the company.
In lieu of its annul parties, the firm will donate the budgets to pro-abortion, LBGT rights, and immigration organizations like Planned Parenthood, the Human Rights Campaign and the Immigrant Defense Fund. Sunshine Sachs will also donate money to gun control advocacy groups like Everytown for Gun Safety, as well as the Environmental Defense Fund and Muslim Aid America.”
Despite these leftists still being embarrassingly confused about the difference between “citizen” and “illegal immigrant”, you’ve got to hand it to them that while they pout and mourn and cancel a Christmas party that would have in no way been impacted by the election otherwise, at least they’re putting the money that would have otherwise been spent on frivolous glamour to “good use”.
Maybe the left is starting to realize that they can’t take their cultural Marxism and political correctness for granted and might actually have to organize and work for the things they believe in. Although if this election has taught us anything, and you would think it would have taught these Hollywood leftists this as well, is that their obsession with “diversity” over the interest of the average American moviegoer that they profit so greatly from is what cost them this election in the first place.
