Last night, Sean Hannity slammed President Obama for refusing to condemn the anti-Donald Trump protests that are taking place across the country.
He argued that part of the problem is that Obama does not accept that the results of the 2016 election – and the subsequent protests – have anything to do with him.
“After Donald Trump’s sweeping victory, President Obama has been in complete and utter denial that the election had anything to do with him or his policies,” Hannity said.
He pointed out that since 2009, the Democratic Party has lost the presidency, 13 Senate seats, 64 House seats, 13 governorships and 33 state houses, all under Obama’s watch.
“If President Obama, if he wants to keep calling for protests, then that will be his legacy, one of division,” Hannity said. “Rich vs. poor, old vs. young, black vs. white, always dividing. That’s what you get under President Obama.”
Hannity predicted Obama “will not be able to contain himself” during Trump’s presidency and will be going after his successor “every chance he gets.”
He noted that this would be a departure from past presidents, including George W. Bush, who has stayed out of politics since leaving office.
