Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told his supporters over Twitter Saturday he has no plans to leave the race despite calls from some Republicans to do so.
Trump made his declaration in the fall out of leaked audio of him from 11 years ago making sexually charged statements to “Access Hollywood’s” Billy Bush about an unnamed woman. Trump had already been married to his third and current wife Melania for several months at that time.
The media and establishment want me out of the race so badly – I WILL NEVER DROP OUT OF THE RACE, WILL NEVER LET MY SUPPORTERS DOWN! #MAGA

Trump released an apology video late Friday night for the comments he made at the time but went after Bill Clinton saying the former president’s actions were far worse and Hillary Clinton’s intimidation tactics towards the women bill abused were worse than the comments he made.
Although both his running mate Mike Pence and his wife Melania criticized Trump for the 2005 remarks, both are standing by him.
