Unfortunately, Gen. Flynn, an honorable man otherwise caught in a nasty situation, had to resign as President Donald Trump’s National Security Adviser — a highly important position.
Even though he left massive shoes to fill, it appears that President Trump just filled them with another legendary military commander — Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster.
His list of accomplishments are long and distinguished, including his chest full of ribbons and medals for his Army service.

Gen. McMaster was the former commander of the Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort Benning. He replaces Gen. Michael Flynn, who was asked to resign after serving in the Trump Administration position for 24 days.
